Description:Suzy Trent (Jean Harlow), a unemployed actress, meets Terry Moore (Franchot Tone), an airplane engineer. After a whirlwind romance, they marry. Terry accidentally overhears German spies and is shot by one of them, a woman. Suzy is accused of shooting Terry, whom she thinks is dead. She takes off for France where she meets and marries Andre Carville (Cary Grant), and ace in the French Air Force at the beginning of WWI. Andre is a playboy, and his behavior doesn't stop. He hooks up with a woman near his base—the same woman who shot Terry. Terry shows up with a new plane and meets Suzy. She tells him that Andre's mistress is a spy. When confronted, the mistress kills Andre and takes off. Terry flies Andre's plane, bombs the woman's car and kills her, then completes Andre's mission. When he crash lands, he and Suzy sneak Andre's body into the wreck so Andre dies a hero.

Review - Suzy

A funny movie—part spy drama, part musical, part romance, and part comedy. I've never liked Jean Harlow and I still don't think she was very pretty, but she was excellent in this. Cary Grant plays a bad boy, which was weird. Somehow it all came together to be good enough to enjoy.
