Description:Poor Texas kids Sarah (Natalie Wood) and Chad (Robert Wagner) fall in love. Sarah gets pregnant, but doesn't want to marry Chad because he's poor. She runs away and meets the wealthy Tony (George Hamilton). They get married, and Tony thinks the baby is his. Tony's spoiled sister, Catherine (Susan Kohner) comes to live with them, and Catherine hates Sarah because she's prettier and gets more attention from men. Meanwhile Chad meets a blues singer, Ruby (Pearl Bailey), who is depressed because her man left her for another woman. Ruby uses her influence to get Chad a try-out as a blues trumpeter, and he's soon the talk of New York. Sarah hears about him and convinces Tony to go see Chad play. When Chad finds out that Sarah is married and that Tony thinks Chad's baby is his, he tries to hurt Sarah by marrying Catherine. When Catherine realizes that Chad loves Sarah, she tries to commit suicide. Chad realizes he loves her after all and goes back to her. Sarah tells Tony about Chad and the baby and then goes back to her folks in Texas. Tony decides he wants her back and follows.

Review - All the Fine Young Cannibals

Overblown soap opera about a bunch of people who just feed off each other, and not in a good way (hence the title). If they were just four young people struggling with growing up, I could have dealt with it, but they all carry around tons of angst that they wear like badges. Natalie Wood was lovely but annoying.
