Trite, cliche, and utterly without surprise. I could have guess how it would end 10 minutes in.

| Description: | A studio is looking to hire a new face to star in a big picture. After a talent search, they bring four girls to Hollywood to try out for the part. In the end, none of them get it because the studio star decides she wants it. But all of the girls get guys -- which is really what the movie was about. Kathy (Julie Adams) ends up with Mike, the director who walked them through the auditions. Ina (Marianne Koch) ends up with a musician who writes scores. Maria (Elsa Martinelli) ends up with the son of the studio owner. And Vicki (Gia Scala), who thought she wanted a career more than marriage, decides to go back to her husband and son. |
