Description:A Tom Mix silent film. Tom is hired by a railroad president to stop the frequent train robberies. He discovers that the president's secretary is tipping off the bandits. With the help of an army buddy, he thwarts the robbers and wins the hand of the president's daughter. The final scene involved Tom diving into a river and coming up in a cave where the bandit gang was holed up. Tom defeated all of the gang in a fistfight, pushed them into the water and forced them to give themselves up to the posse—all while keeping his hat on.

Review - Great K & A Train Robbery, The

Exciting for the times, I'm sure. I sure couldn't endure a steady stream of them. Mix himself was something of a jerk—marrying and divorcing women right and left, but he was big stuff in his day and even got John Wayne started in the movie biz.
