Description:Fletch (Jon Hamm) is retired from investigative reporting and now freelancing articles on art. He finds a dead girl in his living room one morning and is, of course, the chief suspect. He's trying to help his girlfriend Angela (Lorenza Izzo) find some paintings stolen from her father. It all gets rather complicated, but eventually Fletch ends up with the paintings and the murder is solved.

Review - Confess, Fletch

The plot was close to the original book, I think. (It's been a long time since I read it.). Hamm isn't quite as goofy as Chase in the role, but entertaining enough. He pranks on a couple police who are investigating the murder were funny.
