| Description: | London newspaperman Michael Denis (George Murphy) and his faithful dog investigate the disappearance of two local men and the murder of three other people. At the same time, Michael meets Patricia Herrick (Rita Johnson) daughter of the local rich man. Amidst the fog of London, with clues contradicting clues, Michael—or rather his dog—figure out the murderous Umbrella Man is the Herrick butler who has come up with an elaborate scheme to frighten his employer out of a lot of money. |
