Description:Alexander Botts (Joe E. Brown) is a salesman for the Earthworm Tractor Company. He's very self-assured in spite of being a complete screw-up. He tries to sell tractors to Sam Johnson while courting Johnson's daughter Mabel. In spite of everything Botts does to be a total idiot, the tractor performs impressively and Johnson places an order for 14 of them.

Review - Earthworm Tractors

Based on the short stories by William Hazlett Upson. Brown plays Botts as even more of a screw-up than he appears in the stories, and it's pretty much slapstick from start to finish. Definitely a B movie, but mildly entertaining.
