| Description: | The princess (Sylvia Sidney) of a small European country comes to America on a good will tour to raise money for her nation. On her arrival, she gets sick and an American actress, Nancy Lane (also Sylvia Sidney) is hired to impersonate her. Her escort is Porter Madison (Cary Grant) a wealthy newspaper owner, who soon falls in love with her. On the final night of the princess' tour, two reporters find out what's been going on and act to expose the plot. But by that time, the real princess has recovered and appears as herself, foiling the reporters' attempt. Madison, realizing he's been fooled, is angry at first, but realizes that, while he never could marry the princess, he can marry Nancy Lane. |
