| Description: | A highly fictionalized story of Paul Dresser (Victor Mature), the songwriter who wrote tons of hits in the 1890s. In this version, he performs with a traveling carnival until one of his songs is heard by popular singer Sally Elliott (Rita Hayworth). The don't get along to begin with, and at many points along the way. But they become a very successful writer/performer team and fall in love. |
