Description:During the housing shortage in Washington D.C., during WWII, three couples—and a steady parade of other people—share a single hotel suite. The plot, such as it is, involves the disclosure, halfway through the movie, that none of the three marriages are actually official. There's a lot of noise and nonsense until, magically, a Russian priest shows up and marries them all at once.

Review - Doughgirls, The

Loud and stupid, but with a lot of famous actors and actresses. Eve Arden stands out as a Russian heroine who somehow manages to get things done. Otherwise, it's just annoying people making annoying noise in a plot that makes no sense. It was all making fun of the situation in Washington during the war, but so what.
