Cute plot, a lot of energy, and a nice performance by Gable were almost ruined by the too-old-for the part Davies who can't act or dance.

| Description: | Prizefighter Larry Cain (Clark Gable) has a running feud with waitress turned Broadway star Mabel O'Dare (Marion Davies). It all started when she practiced dancing all night in the hotel room above his, which caused him to lose a match. Their entourages get together and fake a romance between the two to boost their careers. Of course they fall in love and plan to quit their careers and elope. A publicity man finds out and publishes the news. Of course, Larry and Mable each suspect the other of reveling the secret, but all gets straightened out in the end and they get married and open a gas station in Jersey. |
