| Description: | Libby (Connie Francis) can't find a job in show business, so she becomes a switchboard operator. She invents a stand to hold clothes, which is picked up by promoter Paul (Jim Hutton), whom Libby wants to marry. He manages to book her on the Tonight Show. When Johnny Carson finds out she was a singer, he has her do a song and her show business career takes off. The bass player, Cuz, is in love with her but dating her roommate Jan. Things waddle along for a while until the very end where Libby ends up with Cuz and Paul ends up with Jan. |
