Description:Charlie Croker (Michael Caine), just out of prison, is handed plans for an elaborate gold heist in Italy. He assembles a team that creates a huge traffic jam, waylays the gold shipment, and escapes in three Mini Coopers. They elude the police, put the cars on a bus ... and then the bus goes off the road in the Alps and we're left wondering if the thieves and the gold make it.

Review - Italian Job, The

The car chase in the Mini Coopers was innovative for the time and fun, but otherwise the movie suffered from poor pacing, absolutely no likeable characters, and a lot of yelling.
