| Description: | A team of four thieves, led by Azad (Jean-Paul Belmondo) steals a bunch of emeralds. They're chased by corrupt policeman Zacharia (Omar Sharif). He plays a game with Azad, continually upping the stakes to get all the emeralds for himself. Azad has a brief fling with a dancer (Dyan Cannon) until he finds out she's sending info to Zacharia. Finally, Azad agrees to turn over the jewels if Zacharia will let him and his team sail off on a ship. Azad lures him into a grain silo, gives him the emeralds, then buries him in grain. He and his team then sail away. |
