| Description: | Maisie (Ann Sothern) heads to a talent agency looking for work. She meets Hap (Red Skelton), an aspiring comedian. When nothing else turns up, Maisie agrees to join his act. But Hap has stage fright and the act flops. The two unknowingly team up with a man running a miracle water scam, and before long are in love. But when Hap's fiancee shows, Maisie takes off and hits the road. The scam artists flees and Hap is arrested. But Maisie recognizes the scammer at a show and has him arrested. Hap is freed and joins the army. He meets Maisie who is doing the show and they agree to meet after the war. |
