Review - Mrs. O'Malley and Mr. Malone
Silly, but just barely controlled enough to be entertaining.

| Description: | Widow Hattie O'Malley (Marjorie Main) wins a radio contest and gets a trip to New York. On the way, she meets John Malone (James Whitmore), an opportunistic, usually drunk lawyer who is searching for Kepplar, an ex-con who owes him $10,000. He's not the only one looking. The police are also after Kepplar because he still has $100,000 in stolen money. Everyone ends up on a train, and when two bodies (Kepplar and his girlfriend) end up in Malone's room, he and Hattie team up to look for the murderer. They figure out it's Kepplar's old boss, but before they can find him on the train, the police arrest them and cuff them together. When the train arrives, they take off looking and track down the killer—who immediately hires Malone as his lawyer. |
