| Description: | Definitely a B movie. Shayne (Lloyd Nolan) is hired by a wealthy man to keep his gambling daughter Phyllis (Marjorie Weaver) out of trouble. He follows her to a joint where he sees the gambler who's encouraging her. He fakes a murder of the guy to scare Phyllis, but then the guy turns up actually murdered. Shayne, Phyllis (who suddenly reformed in time to be an assistant) and Phyllis's aunt combine to, among other things, totally confuse me about what was what and who was who. |
