Cute. Probably not worth watching if I'd not seen the show, but it was a fun sequel.

| Description: | The town of Dog River is bankrupt. The power and water are turned off, and there seems to be no hope. Brent (Brent Butt), owner of Corner Gas buys the out-of-business bar to try to keep things going. Lacey (Gabrielle Miller) tries to organize the townspeople to clean things up. Then a big business shows up to try to buy everyone out to open a corporate headquarters. The only chance the town has is to win the Quaintest Town in Canada contest. But when the reporter shows up to see the town, everything goes wrong and the town looks like chaos. But things work out. The town doesn't win the contest, but the reporter writes about what's going on and gets the business to back down. Brent and Lacey reveal that they've been dating for two years. |
