Description:Dan Bennett (James Craig) is a rodeo rider who is called home to the family ranch when his father dies. He finds the ranch being run by foreman Chris Johnson (Joan Leslie), a woman who is as competent at riding, shooting, and—so it turns out—rodeo. Dan decides to sell the ranch and go back to rodeo. Chris tries to talk him out of it. In the end, Dan keeps the ranch and gets Chris in the bargain. Most of the movie involves the two competing against each other in a rodeo, and their attempts to capture a wild stallion.

Review - Northwest Stampede

Plotless nonsense with more holes than substance. At least half the movie was scenery shots of the Canadian Rockies and random shots of people riding horses through it. The only thing it had going for it is Joan Leslie who was beautiful.
