Description:Wealthy Peter gets drunk at his bachelor party and passes out. As a joke, his friends dump his body in the dissecting lab at school. Professor Shotessbury (Edward Everett Horton) thinks he's developed a formula that will bring people back from the dead, so he steals Peter's body and gives him the shot. It turns Peter invisible. While in this state, he discovers that his girlfriend is marrying him just for his money. He meets the professor's daughter Joan (Jane Wyman) and they fall for each other. Meanwhile, the Professor's claims about his experiment cause his colleagues to have him committed to a sanitarium. To break him out, Joan takes the serum, and she and Peter take it to the Professor. On the way back to the lab, Peter is thrown out of the car. The Professor is questioned by a judge to find out what happened to the missing man, but then the still invisible Peter walks in a gets the shot that returns him to normal—and Joan. Willie Best plays the Professor's assistant and is much funnier than Horton.

Review - Body Disappears, The

Almost too silly to watch, but also a bit surprising that it made it past the code since Joan was kissing the invisible Peter while he was naked (although they don't say much about this). Later, Joan is also invisible and it shows her removing her clothes. She and Peter then drive naked to the sanitarium. Of course, none of this is shown, but ...
