| Description: | Rancher/gambler Chuck goes to Vegas for his annual spree of losing money. On a whim, he grabs the hand of passing Maria (Cyd Charisse), who is at the casino to dance in a show. Surprisingly, Chuck wins. He's convinced that holding Maria's hand brings him luck and convinces her to try it. They win everywhere they go. Maria falls in love with Chuck, but he's just interested in the money—at first. Soon, he's in love with her too, and so ends their luck at gambling because "Unlucky at cards, lucky at love." With the magic gone, they decide to part ways, but love wins out and they get married. |
