Description:Olive (Eve Arden) has two dates scheduled in one night. She ducks the one with Bill (Ronald Reagan) after arranging to meet him in the apartment of her friend Sally (Eleanor Parker). After Olive leaves, Bill and Sally get to talking and end up going out to dinner together. It's during the war, so Bill can't find a hotel. Sally invites him to spend the night on her daybed. They end up spending the weekend together and falling in love, although Sally is reluctant because she'd just been dumped.

Review - Voice of the Turtle, The

Reagan was good as Bill, but Parker was amazing as Sally, playing her with little quirks and idiosyncrasies that somehow were sweet without being annoying. The movie isn't full of excitement, but it was fun to watch.
