| Description: | Tom is hired as the gardener on the estate in a small English village. He soon falls for the Polish nanny, Anya, who comes every summer during the summer vacation of the estate owner's son. Tom lacks the courage to ask Anya out or even talk to her. She likes him and keeps dropping hints, but he's too scared and all his efforts fall flat. Finally, halfway through the second summer, the village residents take action and lock the two in a tree house for an afternoon. Tom finally works up the courage to kiss Anya. All this is going on while we also see incidents in the lives of other village residents. |
