Review - Confidentially Connie
It's weird, it's convoluted, and ... it's weird. But somehow the characters (except for Joe) were amusing and made it fun to watch.

| Description: | Joe (Van Johnson) is a teacher at a small college. His salary is so small that his pregnant wife Connie (Janet Leigh) can't afford red meat. Joe's father Opie (Louis Calhern) is a wealthy rancher from Texas who wants Joe to come back and work the farm. Joe is proud and will accept nothing from his father. Opie visits and finds out the Connie can't get the meat she craves. The plot is a confusing nonsense about Connie trying to get what's best for her baby, Joe trying to get a promotion at the school, and Opie trying to get meat to Connie and Joe to the ranch. |
