Description:Nancy Peterson (Janet Leigh), just out of high school, travels to NYC in hopes of making it on Broadway. She just happens to run into singer Dan Carter (Tony Martin), a singer also hoping to make it big. Dan's agent Lew (Eddie Bracken) is a shyster who always makes big promises but never delivers. He convinces Nancy and Dan that he's got them a spot on the Bob Crosby show, but there's nothing to it. Nancy, Dan and the troop rehears and come up with several numbers. When nothing comes of it, Nancy storms into Crosby's studio and makes a scene. Meanwhile, Lew has locked one of Crosby's acts in the basement, so Crosby has to put Lew's show on the air, and they're a big hit. Nancy and Dan fall in love.

Review - Two Tickets to Broadway

Stupid plot, forgettable songs. I couldn't help wondering if the act Lew locked in the basement is still there. Martin was 14 years older than Leigh and seemed even older, so the pursuit of a girl just graduated from high school by a much older man was unconvincing and a bit creepy.
