Description:Cora Jordan (Myrna Loy), rich heiress, decides to make it on her own. She tries to find a job and ends up without food or money on a park bench with equally destitute Bill Overton (Rober Taylor). They find a dime, put it in a slot machine and win. This leads them to other places where their luck continues. The next morning they wake up to find themselves hung over and married. Bill gets a job as a salesman, and Cora takes care of their tiny apartment. All goes well until Bill gets a raise and decides to use the extra money to recreate the first night. Cora wants security, so the thought of partying irresponsibly is too much. She goes home to her father. Bill misses her and shows up at the house when Cora is out. Bill gets talking with Cora's father, they get drunk, and when Cora comes home, she finds Bill passed out in her bed—which makes her happy because she still loves him. And so the movie ends—with Bill with no job but determined to have fun. Cora, out of her apartment, but in her father's mansion and ... That's all we're told.

Review - Lucky Night

It started well, with two likeable people having fun when they had nothing to lose. But then it just got weird and kinda dull and then it ended with no resolution.
