Description:John Quinn (Pat O'Brien) is the manager of a swank nightclub in LA. When his next band can't perform, his publicist, Toni (Margaret Lindsay) calls on a small-time band from NY, led by Don Vincente (John Payne). Quinn and Vincente butt heads immediately, and the entire movie is made up of schemes in which the two try to get the better of each other. In spite of the battle, Vincente's band is a big hit at the club. But finally, Vincente has had enough and quits. Quinn fakes being shot to get Vincente to sign a long contract. Along the way, Vincente and Toni fall in love.

Review - Garden of the Moon

Loud, chaotic, with boring songs. O'Brien's character is so over-the-top manipulative and obnoxious, that I couldn't imagine anyone falling for even one of his schemes, much less the parade of them that he uses in this plot.
