Description:Heather (Sandra Dee) is secretary to the brilliant but robotic Harlan (George Hamilton). Heather's mother (Celeste Holm) tries to make a singer out of her. Heather is dating three guys: Dick (Bill Bixby), next-door neighbor; Dwayne (Hang Judson), actor who specializes in death scenes; and Pat (Dick Kallman), singing coach. Harlan, in spite of himself, falls for Heather. They have a one-night stand before Heather realizes she'd just be part of Harlan's planned life. But then she finds out she's pregnant. The three guys all want to marry her to make an honest woman out of her. But as she's wheeled into the maternity ward, Harlan is carried past on a gurney (he was hit by a car). Heather and Harlan kiss and get married.

Review - Doctor, You've Got to Be Kidding

I wanted to like this movie, and it began very funny. Then it stopped being funny and just got awkward. Every single moment that George Hamilton was on screen was painful and, since his character is the one Heather ended up with, the movie was ruined.

Sandra Dee was very cute as Heather, but she couldn't save this one.
