It's like the movie was translated from reality to comic book to drug trip, then back to reality but not really. Weirdly shot, weird flashbacks, weird special effects, weird music, tons of quick cuts. It left me with more questions than answers—and I'm even somewhat knowledgeable about Elvis's career. The guy who played Elvis put a lot of energy into it, but I never bought him as Elvis.
