Description:Mary Ryan (Marsha Hunt) is a police detective who catches a jewel thief. Her captain sends her undercover with a gang of thieves, and Mary soon finds herself in a fix—forced to stay at the gang's hideout (a turkey farm) and participate in their robberies. Her captain searches for her desperately. Mary sends info about her whereabouts stuffed into turkeys. The captain gets the info and arrives just in time to save Mary who has been recognized by a gang member as a cop. She only survives because Joey, the gang's driver, steps in to help her (and gets shot for his effort) because she saved his life earlier when the rest of the gang was willing to let him die.

Review - Mary Ryan, Detective

Well-made B picture that was ... odd. The gang was all very polite, right up until the time they were willing to let gang members die. Mary had skills as a thief and pick-pocket, but not to escape from the thieves hideout or disarm the bad guys. The dialogue wasn't as corny as one might expect, but it was all rather tidy to be convincing as a picture of crime. Still, Marsha Hunt was attractive and polished in her role and pretty much carried the movie.
