| Description: | Somebody is stealing famous paintings from galleries and replacing them with clever duplicates. American Paul Mitchell (Dennis O'Keefe) is sent to the Tate Gallery in London to protect a Da Vinci on loan there. He meets Mary Mason (Coleen Gray) and flirts with her, but soon he suspects her artist father. But when the father is found dead. Mitchell realizes that he was painting the paintings but someone else was using them to steal the originals. Mitchell tricks art collector Aldingham into admitting it by stealing the real painting and having Aldingham steal the forgery. |
