Review - Bonnie Scotland
Laurel and Hardy are occasionally amusing in their bumbling way, but so far as plot is concerned, this was pretty lame.

| Description: | Laurel and Hardy break out of prison and travel to Scotland to hear the reading of a will of Laurel's grandfather. They receive nothing of value and end up wandering around without funds. They accidentally join the army and are sent to India. When a war lord attacks the British fort, Laurel and Hardy are forced to volunteer to impersonate officers and enter the war lord's castle where they manage to bumble everything and save the day. There's also a pointless plot about a Lorna (June Lang), Laurel's cousin, who is sent to India away from the man she loves—who also joins the army to be near her. |
