| Description: | One of those large-cast movies where a studio has all their stars perform for servicemen. The plot, such as it is, involves Rick, a pilot (Ron Hagerthy), who has a crush on Hollywood starlet Nell Wayne (Janice Rule) who comes from his same hometown. He meets her and lets her think he's on the way to the Korean front when he really only transports soldiers from San Francisco to Hawaii and back. It gets in the press that they're together, but she finds out he's just a transport pilot, so they quarrel. Then he applies for front-line duty and they make up and he goes off to war. |
