Review - Vivacious Lady
Pretty typical pointless plot from the 30's, but Steward and Rogers were likeable and the movie was a pleasant distraction.

| Description: | College professor Peter Morgan, Jr. (Jimmy Stewart) travels to NYC to corral his wayward cousin who has fallen for a dancer named Francey (Ginger Rogers). When Peter and Francey meet, they fall immediately in love and spend the night wandering the streets. In the morning, they decide to get married. Back at the college, there's a problem—Peter's father (Charles Coburn) is a very strict man who believes the good of the college always comes first. Peter hesitates to tell him about Francey. There's confusion and miscommunication, and Francey eventually decides to head home. But in the meantime, Peter's mother has gotten fed up with his father and ends up on the train with Francey. The two women join forces, but soon their husbands come chasing after them and all is resolved. |
