Harmless enough, but the songs were dull and the plot was dumb. I'm not a huge fan of June Allyson.

| Description: | At Tait University, football star Tommy Marlowe (Peter Lawford) wants to impress Pat (Patricia Marshall), so he takes French lessons from student librarian Connie Lane (June Allyson). He falls for Connie and asks her to prom, but when Pat shows him some attention, he dumps Connie. Two months later, Tommy is in danger of flunking French class and becoming ineligible for the big game. His only chance is to take lessons from Connie. She's reluctant, but agrees to help for the sake of the school. While they study, Tommy falls for Connie again. But he's already engaged to Pat. Connie works a scheme to get Pat to dump Tommy for a richer boy, and Connie and Tommy get together. |
