Description:The new principal at Vince Lombardi High School, Miss Togar, is determined to cut down on the delinquency which is caused by rock music. Her chief opponent is student Riff Randell (P.J. Soles), who is a big fan of the Ramones. She manages to get to one of their concerts and give them a song she wrote for them — Rock 'n' Roll High School. They like it enough to come visit the school. Principal Togar determines to stop them, but the Ramones play their music and the school blows up.

Review - Rock 'n' Roll High School

Yes, it was really that dumb. The plot, editing, acting, special effects, all awful. The Romones' music is, I suppose, a matter of taste. I've heard worse (and I had heard some of their songs before), but it all sounds alike—hard driving, repetitive. And the members of the band are, beyond question four of the ugliest people and worst actors I've ever seen.
