Bittersweet. I didn't find the music particularly memorable, but neither was it annoying.

| Description: | Mia (Emma Stone) wants to be an actress, but she's tired of auditioning and failing. She works in a coffee shop. Sebastian (Ryan Gosling) is a pianist who wants to own his own jazz club. They meet, fight, then fall in love. When each is ready to give up on their own dreams, the other encourages them to keep on. But they know they can't pursue their dreams together. Mia becomes a big star, gets married, and has a kid. Sebastian opens his club and is a success. One night Mia and her husband go to the club and sees Sebastian. When he sees her, he plays their old song, and for the duration, the two dream about what might have been. But the song ends. They exchange glances that say "Good job realizing your dream" and go their separate ways. |
