Description:Mike Morrison (Robert Mitchum) is an American war correspondent in Greece at the start of WWII. He unwillingly receives a list of Greeks who are Allied agents pretending to collaborate with the Nazis and is asked to give it to the British. The Nazis, led by Heisler (Stanley Baker) find out and chase him. Mike jumps on a British truck that is bombed. He's found by Greek resistance and nursed back to health by Eleftheria (Gia Scala). The two soon fall in love, but Mike has to leave. He learns that the girl was later killed by the Germans when she refused to talk. Mike goes to Athens where me meets another resistance fighter, Lisa (Elisabeth Muller) who was once Heisler's mistress. Heisler threatens to kill her children if she doesn't deliver Mike, but at the last minute, she can't bring herself to do it. She arranges to have her kids rescued and sent to safety with Mike while she sacrifices herself to Heisler. But at the last minute, he realizes it will do no good to kill her and lets her go in memory of what they once were to each other. Jocelyn Lane is along as Heisler's current mistress, but mostly just to look like Jocelyn Lane.

Review - Angry Hills, The

Pretty choppy, and the very last part was cut off by TCM, so I don't know for sure if Lisa managed to catch up with Mike and her kids, but I assume not. Otherwise, I enjoyed it.
