Dumb plot. Who got revenge on whom? Tibey got away with everything. Cochran ended up with nothing--not even his friend. There were no characters to root for.

| Description: | Cochran (Kevin Costner) retires from the Air Force and goes to Mexico to visit his friend, crooked, powerful businessman Tibey (Anthony Quinn). He soon falls for Tibey's young wife, Miryea (Madeleine Stowe) and they have an affair. Tibey finds out and has Cochran beaten to a pulp and left for dead. He cuts Miryea's face with a knife, then sends her to a brothel. Cochran is found by a peasant and survives. He sets out to get revenge and find Miryea. He kills all Tibey's men one by one, but when he confronts Tibey, he just apologizes for stealing his wife. Tibey tells him Miryea is in a convent, and Cochran arrives just in time for her to die in his arms. |
