| Description: | Steve (Dave Clark of the Dave Clark Five) works as a stuntman with his friends (played by the other members of the band). They're working on a series of ads for meat, which feature model Dinah (Barbara Ferris). She gets tired of the grind, and she and Steve decide to take off for an island she's thinking of buying. To stir up media coverage, her manager, who has an odd Svengali-type relationship with her, says that she's been kidnapped. Steve and Dinah cross the country meeting odd people -- a bunch of Beatniks, a couple who like to dress up, a farmer who wants to turn his farm into a amusement park. They're pursued by the police and men from the ad agency. They finally make it to the island, only to find it's not really an island and that Dinah's manager has beaten them there. She goes back with him, while Steve wanders off with his friends. |
