I liked most of the characters, but I was never sure what was going on. I'm still not.

| Description: | Seventeen-year-old Jones (Elijah Wood) drops out of college on the first day and rents an apartment in an old house. He shares the floor with two other apartments. One belongs to Lisa (Mandy Moore), an aspiring actress with whom Jones strikes up friendship. But he is more interested in Jane (Franka Potente), a moody photographer in the other apartment who is several years older. they have a fling. He has phone conversations with his mother and writes imaginative letters (never sent) to the father he never met. When Jane decides to move in with an old boyfriend, Jones tries to stop her, but she moves. He decides to stop living in a fantasy world and sets out on the road where he meets Jane, who came back for him. |
