| Description: | Sid Straw (Tony Hale) is a nice guy although a little socially awkward. When he's asked to co-chair his high-school reunion, he signs onto Facebook. He sees that Elizabeth Banks (the actress) was a classmate and a teammate on the volleyball team. She used to encourage the team to "Eat Wheaties!" He sends her a message, not realizing that he's posting it where everyone can see it. He soon becomes a viral laughingstock, loses his job, and has a lot of other stuff go wrong. Banks' agent gets a restraining order put on him. His brother Tom encourages him to move on. Sid helps a guy become a lawyer and together they get Sid a big check for wrongful firing and a bunch of other things. Sid gets a good job and a new girlfriend. Tom's wife Janet (Elisha Cuthbert) even forgives him for a gaff at her wedding. As the closing credits roll, Sid gets a call from Elizabeth Banks saying she just read his messages and yes, she remembers him and even tells people what a nice guy he is. |
