| Description: | As a teenager, Jack (Todd Grinnell) was in love with Elise (Brianna Hildebrand). But she suddenly disappeared when her father dragged her off to a space colony 10 years away. Jack became a politician and married Maggie (KaDee Strickland), a focused, somewhat manipulative woman who hopes to steer Jack to the White House. They go to Jack's hometown and, to his shock, Elise is there. Except that she's still 18—she didn't age during her 20 years in space. Jack is drawn to her, and she tells him she loves him and came back from space to find him. But Jack sticks with Maggie and goes back on the campaign trail — for a while. He then decides that politics is fake and his relationship with Maggie is over. He jumps on a space ship and travels for 10 years. When he returns, he is still 38, but Elise is now 28, and they get together. |
