Description:Slow-paced, atmospheric movie about Anne (Jeanne Moreau) the bored, neglected wife of a factory owner in a dull French seaport. One day, while at her son's piano lesson, she hears a murder in the cafe downstairs. She strikes up a conversation with Chauvin (Jean-Paul Belmondo), a worker at her husband's factory, and soon the two of them are drawn to each other. They meet over the course of seven days, but Chauvin realizes the affair can have no future and leaves. In despair, Anne goes back to her husband and boring life.

Review - Seven Days ... Seven Nights

More a mood than a plot. The black-and-white photography of a seaport in winter was harsh and bleak. The music was sad. The story of two unhappy people who wanted to be happy together but couldn't.
