| Description: | Typical made-for-TV Christmas movie about an FBI agent, Jake, who is assigned to protect Brandi, a cocktail waitress, over the Christmas holidays so she can testify against her boyfriend who is an embezzler. Jake is estranged from his wealthy, up-tight family. To get him home for Christmas, his mother tells him his father had a heart attack. Jake brings Brandi, who shocks Jake's family. But naturally, she endears herself to them as they smooth some of her rough edges. Brandi's boyfriend catches up to her and attempts to bribe her into not testifying, but she has gained a new sense of responsibility and wins the case for Jake. They end up together, at least until the end of the movie. |
