| Description: | Computer professor Mal (Tom Cavanagh) invents a computer with emotions. He's about to lose his funding unless he gets an article published. His ex-girlfriend edits a magazine, so Mal convinces her to sponsor an experiment. Can a computer or an actual man get a girl, Samantha (Sarah Chalke) to say "I love you" first? For the man, they get Troy, another professor who is an expert on "love." Mal disguises himself and quotes the computer's lines when he's with Samantha while Troy speaks for himself. In time, Samantha decides she doesn't want to be involved with either of them, although she does like Mal. He confesses all. She's doubtful until he reminds her that while the words were the computer's, the kisses were his. |
