Description:A petty thief, Michel (Jean-Paul Belmondo) steals a car and kills a policeman at the beginning of the movie. For the next hour and a half, the police look for Michel while he looks for a guy who owes him money and tries to talk American reporter Patricia (Jean Seberg) to go to Rome with him. She can't decide whether she loves him or not, so she turns him in to the police to find out. Michel intends to turn himself in, but a friend throws him a gun and the police kill him.

Review - Breathless

Supposed to be a classic of French new-wave cinema, with all sorts of innovative techniques, like hand-held cameras and jump cuts. Maybe so, but the story of two unlikable losers was boring and never made me care whether Patricia loved anyone or whether Michel would get caught.
