Description:Clyde (Sidney Poitier) and Billy (Bill Cosby) want to raise money for their lodge in Atlanta. Clyde has the ability to hypnotize, so they go to New Orleans and hypnotize Bootney (Jimmie Walker), a scrawny, pathetic boxer, into thinking he's the greatest, then place huge bets on him with rival gangsters, Biggie Smalls and Kansas City Mack. When the boxer wins, Clyde and Billy collect the money and scoot out of town. Months later, after the money is spent, Kansas City Mack catches up with them and threatens them into a deal. They hypnotize Bootney again so that Biggie will place big money on him, then they unhypnotize him before the fight. Or at least they try to, but they get caught in the act and Bootney is still hypnotized. So they also hypnotize his opponent, then have their wives place huge bets with both Biggie and Mack that the two fighters will knock each other out in the first round. That's what happens. The wives collect, but Biggie and Mack get together and chase Clyde and Billy — right into a police station where Clyde has hypnotized the police chief. They give Biggie and Mack most of their money back (from the second fight) in exchange for leaving Clyde and Billy and their wives alone.

Review - Let's Do It Again

Mildly amusing. It seemed like Cosby overacted while Poitier underacted. The plot was ridiculous, of course, but clever.
