Description:Rich girl Terry (Linda Blair) feels neglected by her parents so she heads to the beach to hang out with the roller skating crowd. She meets Bobby (Jim Bray), asks him for lessons, and falls in love with him. There's tension with her parents and a sub-plot about a gang of thugs who are forcing the owner of the rink to sell. Terry and Bobby save the day and win the big roller skating championship before she goes off to rich girl school.

Review - Roller Boogie

Typical teens against un-hip adults comedy. Jim Bray was an actual roller skating champ and not an actor, but he wasn't bad — although not greatly challenged by the script.
