Description:Americans Make Harper (Rod Taylor) and his wife Janet (Doris Day) move to London so Mike can take over a woolen mill. His work keeps him very busy and he often comes home late, so Janet (incorrectly) suspects he's fooling around with his secretary, Claire. She confides in her friend Vanessa who decides to make Mike jealous by sending Janet gifts from Paul, the dealer from whom Janet is buying furniture for their new house. Paul takes Janet to London to show her a dining room set. She gets drunk, and they end up getting locked in the store for the night. Mike happens to also be in Paris for a convention. Janet goes there to explain things to Mike and discovers that all the men are with their secretaries and mistresses, not their wives. She pretends to be Claire, there's much mayhem, but Mike and Janet end up together all happy.

Review - Do Not Disturb

The movie that ended Day's run as the most popular movie star, and I can understand why. It's one of those silly movies where the husband and wife are constantly bickering and mistrusting each other even though they supposedly actually love each other. The whole story would disappear if they just listened to each other talk. There was one part that made me laugh. Janet got an olive down the back of her backless dress. As she danced, she tried to shimmy it out and started a new dance sensation.
